Clinical Trials
Consortium members are invited to participate in CORI-sponsored
research projects; however, participation is not required.
CORI provides practices a variety of research support including:
- Assistance with development of protocols
- Communication with sites to aid participation in
studies
- IRB submissions and continuing reviews
- Patient enrollment
and follow-up
CORI is an exciting venue
for clinical trials and the CORI Research Core can assist
researchers with all aspects of
conducting a research project. Patients have an opportunity
to indicate their interest in research participation by signing
a consent to be contacted at the time of their procedure.
This allows the CORI Research Core to complete enrollment
in studies without each physician’s office needing
to hire a research coordinator.
Additionally, we are happy to work with you to help develop
a new protocol and determine whether or not CORI is a suitable
match for your research project. Please contact LeAnn Michaels
at michaell@ohsu.edu
for more information.
Research Data Collection Services
In addition to the extensive data already collected by the
CORI software, custom screens and tools can be developed
for specific research projects. Data collection services
can include:
- Physician recruitment
- Designing, testing, and implementing
screen changes to capture specific data
- Obtaining patient
consent
